Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Trumbull, CT. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, and perform repairs, modifications, and assembly on Aircraft components by approved data.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and gauges such as feeler gauges, dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Perform repair of detailed components by filing, stoning, lapping, and polishing.
  • Using power and hand tools for drilling, sanding, and riveting.
  • Write clearly and concisely the results of evaluations and be able to communicate repair requirements for work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources.
  • Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives.
  • Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI's, OREI's, drawings, and check sheets.
  • Chemically treat repaired surfaces by approved data.
  • Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, and operational sequence and record information on appropriate documentation.
  • Drill, ream, tap, change studs, install helicoids, install bushings and liners by shrink fitting and arbor press.

Pay: $23.50 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: CONTRACT (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive/aircraft paint experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
