Introduction to the job

Wilton Factory is looking for a strong project lead who will bring our long term strategic Factory Facilities plan to the next level. Due to ever increasing semiconductor demand and changing Wilton portfolio we need to continue to build and develop factory. To do this effectively we need a long term full factory roadmap. The Facility Master planner manages this overall factory roadmap. He / she will drive the requirement gathering in the organization, communicate and drive these plans towards realization together with production engineering project leads and our Corporate Real Estate organization.

Role and responsibilities

Job Mission

In this function you will, based on the information managed by Production Engineering, Development & Engineering, Master Planning and Manufacturing regarding the WF modules, safeguard that the required manufacturing facilities are available both long term and short term. You are aligning overall technology roadmap, needs of manufacturing, and corporate real estate to create factory layout scenarios and decision milestones. This includes gathering and registering the information, communicate the information to Manufacturing, Corporate Real Estate and the cross sectors.

Job Description

  • Gather input that could impact factory layout from multiple sources and consolidate to actionable plan(s)
  • Define scenarios, clearly communicate details to all stakeholders
  • Consolidate input, create decision milestones
  • Take multiple inputs into account in the design the factory flow for parts and machines in our factory, to overcome entanglement.
  • Support in close cooperation with several counter parts the required WF related facilities both long term and short term.
  • Ensure project portfolio is taken into account in future WF site layout.
  • Review high-level CAD solutions to create flexible production facilities
  • Concurrent engineering: be able to implement continuously changes in the design in a running factory.
  • Design process: communicate required information to ASML Corporate Real Estate and building partners; guide the engineering process with the building partners, ensure steps in factory expansion and improvement are future-proof.
  • Take in account the building restrictions from the local government.

Education and experience

Education

  • Master degree (or Bachelor degree with experience) in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or Applied Physics is preferred and experience with or in Facility related area is a must.

Experience

  • 7 years related experience
  • Proven affinity with high-tech machines and the demonstrable drive to create structure and organization in the work field.
  • Plant layout and product flow analysis
  • Solid clean room experience for the understanding of additional requirements like cleanliness
  • Experience in design and specification of cleanroom operations and the related facilities

Responsibilities:

  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
