We are seeking an Entry Level Water / Wastewater / Water Resources Engineer in our Princeton, New Jersey Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from designing water and wastewater treatment facilities, completing stormwater management studies, preparing permitting applications for various construction projects, evaluating environmental impacts, and completing field work on construction sites and in streams/rivers. Great projects are not the only positive aspect of this role though. You will also work with a talented team of professionals with sought after experience in engineering, environmental studies, watershed management, green stormwater technologies, and litigation support. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and an interest in working in the water/wastewater and water resources engineering field, with a focus in municipal water and wastewater treatment, sanitary and combined sewer collection systems, surface water quality, and stormwater management/green infrastructure.

Additional requirements:

    B.S. or M.S/M.Eng. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Engineering-In-Training is a plus, but all motivated individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
  • 0-3 years of civil engineering experience required with a focus on water/wastewater and water resources.
  • Strong AutoCAD and GIS skills preferred; willingness to learn required.

The selected candidate will work in our team-oriented environment, primarily providing public and private sector clients with professional engineering services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. They will have the opportunity to develop technical expertise in water resources engineering and grow into technical leadership and/or project and client account management. If selected, you will work with technical teams and be expected to provide a diverse range of water resources engineering services which may include:

  • Planning (treatment studies, process/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, permitting and site planning)
  • Design (process design, selection, sizing, placement of equipment)
  • Construction (bidding, construction administration, inspection services)
  • Studies (stormwater, watershed, surface water, ground water)
  • Project driven field work (30% field work / 70% office)
  • Flex work schedule, work from home two to three days a week per project workload
  • Coordinate schedule with project managers and office manager for days to work in office per project workload
