Position Summary
The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a short-term casual research worker (SRW) to work as part of Dr. Keyes's global mental health research team. The SRW will work closely with Dr. Keyes and her project director to support ongoing projects, including data collection, monitoring and evaluation, IRB and other regulatory support, and generating reports. The particular research study the SRW will be assisting with aims to evaluate the mental and psychosocial needs of Afghan individuals and families who have recently resettled in the United States. We are looking for an SRW with experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage various tasks in a team setting
Ability to be flexible to the evolving needs of global mental health studies
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Pashto or Dari
Experience in basic quantitative data analysis
Experience in conducting literature reviews and/or qualitative research
Familiarity with data management and analysis
Ability to travel to New Jersey (day-trips)
