The Director, Office of the Secretary will oversee and manage all administrative operations in the Office of the Secretary. Support the Secretary and General Counsel, Deputy General Counsels and Associate Secretaries, and any other designees responsible for the University Senate in the Office of General Counsel ('Designees") tasked to support Board of Trustees and University Senate matters.
Principal duties include:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business or public administration, or related area
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in business or public administration, or related area.
Required Experience:
5+ years relevant experience (preferably in an academic or corporate environment) or equivalent combination. Must include experience planning and implementing various activities and special events, demonstrated ability or experience in managing support staff, developing and implementing office policies, and administering budgets and operations.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00 to USD $125,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
