About the Role
The Product Manager will be responsible for a host of different initiatives including (but not limited to) risk & fraud prevention, chargeback prevention, success rates around KYC and payments, vendor management. In this role you will be working closely with various areas in the organization across product, operations, finance, legal, accounting, development and technology. You will be responsible for a set of products that are critical to the success of our business, how players fund and withdraw from the BetMGM wallet and mitigating the risk at different touch points in the app itself (registration, login, deposits, and withdrawals). This is the doorway for all company revenue for all products, Sports, Casino, Poker and more.

In this role, you will own the performance of payment, fraud, & KYC providers from both success rates and commercial perspectives, developing product strategies to improve success rates and reduce risk and fraud. Working with a variety of stakeholders, Product, Business Intelligence (BI), Finance and Operations, you will be accountable for continuously improving player experience and security throughout registration, login & transaction journeys (with fraud prevention always front and center) to accomplish our core business goals. You will be responsible for defining, delivering, and operating a fraud prevention strategy. Ultimately, your success will be measured by our customers' experience as well as our core business goals and metrics (revenue generation & cost savings). You will be building out a product roadmap for your area and prioritizing; from discovery & development phase, to post go-live monitoring and enhancing.
Responsibilities
  • Launch product initiatives with high confidence through mitigating risks and executing go-to-market plans with all relevant stakeholders
  • Understand our users and stakeholders needs, base decisions on data, not personal opinions
  • Influence the product strategy, design solutions, and engineering decisions to best accomplish the intended outcome
  • Be the subject matter expert for your product and its customers
  • Develop detailed written requirements with acceptance criteria and negotiate trade-offs with engineering and design teams
  • Work in coordination with engineering team to execute, deliver, and meet the release/sprint goals
  • Understand the competitive landscape - prescribe user research and competitive analysis to help support and frame our initiatives
  • Key role in the monitoring and analysis of business performance, including financial analysis and tracking the trends in the business
  • Managing the weekly/monthly reporting decks and any other ad hoc reporting requirements & presenting to other areas of the company along with the senior leadership team
  • Support the planning and forecasting activities of the business, including developing the data and analysis to support financial model assumptions
Essential Functions
  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a digital product management role
  • Knowledgeable around digital payments, fraud and risk
  • Excellent data analysis, modelling and forecasting skills - with the ability to quickly identify key business trends and feed this into forecasting models and/or actionable insights.
  • Very strong excel skills and solid business intelligence and data experience
  • Highly analytical and comfortable using a variety of reporting systems and tools
  • Must have a collaborative working style with the ability to build partnerships cross functionally, effectively influence and develop and implement business process improvements in the planning, reporting and revenue management area.
  • Experience creating and maintaining product roadmaps
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the product development lifecycle and has a track record of delivering meaningful product and feature improvements
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadline
  • Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and/or internationally

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
