APP OB/GYN Montvale
Position Summary:
In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Scope of practice will encompass:
- Expert clinical practice
- Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers
- Research
- Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems)
To serve on-call/weekend rotation as required.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
OR
Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with primary focus of education and training as a Women 's Health Nurse Practitioner.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Hold a valid, current New Jersey physician assistant license.
OR
Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with primary focus of education and training as a Women 's Health Nurse Practitioner. - Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.
- Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field. Willing to train highly motivated individual
- Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.
- BCLS & ACLS certification
