We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Visual Brand Design to join our Marketing & Communications team and lead creative for our Wealth Management business. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Managing the creative development and execution of marketing and sales materials for Wealth Management's Ultra High Net Worth clients and prospects.
  • Driving and evolving the design direction of our Wealth Management business. Consistently pushing design boundaries, ambitiously seeking to set a new bar for design excellence and creativity on every project, while remaining true to the core BNY Mellon Brand.
  • Working in partnership with writers/copywriters to develop compelling campaigns and materials. Collaborating with stakeholders cross-functionally, balancing all project needs.
  • Facilitating the end-to-end production process for digital, print, video and audio in collaboration with our Creative Production team
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement, and proposes and creates processes and tools to support design operations.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 8+ years of Creative Director experience in a creative agency or in-house team, specializing in digital products.
  • Ability to identify the details that signal UHNW and figuring out where/how they should be incorporated in how we go to market (by understanding the world that they live in and how we can best incorporate details).
  • Ability to design for digital formats including social media display advertising and a working understanding of UX design and ability to design wireframes that support a unique UHNW experience.
  • An impeccable sense of style and modern effortless aesthetic for an audience who demands it paired with the ability to distill complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.
  • Experience coordinating, directing contractors and agencies, and managing in-house designers.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $95,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
