We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President of Employer Sales who will not only lead our day-to-day sales functions and revenue leadership but also the strategy and vision of the employer sales function as a whole. This role requires an exceptional leader with a track record in handling big-ticket deals, particularly within the enterprise segment. The leader will lead a team of 50+ covering enterprise and commercial sales, strategic alliances, and the business development team

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee all sales operations, focusing on high-value, solution-based selling to enterprise clients.
  • Recruit, retain, and nurture your team of experienced sales leaders with high potential and strong performance history.
  • Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, opportunity management, and career planning/development.
  • Provide skill training and mentoring on complex sales motions, including collaboration with legal, product presentations, juggling multiple relationships with internal teams, and quarterly sales forecasting.
  • Interface and develop professional relationships with existing clients and prospects throughout at all levels of an organization.
  • Display a systemic approach to handling meaningful contract negotiations/deals with multiple reps at a time.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Spring Health solution offerings.
  • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in building win-based proposals and pricing.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for large enterprise-level deals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with other functional areas internally
  • Develop and execute strategies for multi-stakeholder engagement, working closely with consultants to provide value-based solutions.

What we expect from you:

  • Extensive experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a history of handling large enterprise deals.
  • Domain expertise in the enterprise health benefits sector, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory environments in this space
  • Proven B2B enterprise selling experience, demonstrating a successful track record in navigating complex sales environments and closing high-value deals
  • Experience selling 8 figure ACV deals as an individual contributor
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and meet ambitious targets.
  • Expert knowledge with various sales modalities and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong track record of selling to and engaging with C-suite executives.
  • Ability to mentor and develop early-career sales talent.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

The target salary for this position is $350,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
