An Application Specialist I with a passion to provide exceptional service to client institutions by promptly responding to telephone calls and emails to ensure timely resolution or escalation of operational issues.

What you'll do...

  • Front line support that responds to client inquiries
  • Document all appropriate information into case tracking system
  • Respond to client inquiries on reports regarding applications, procedures and system generated reports
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding system use and procedures
  • Research client issues by reviewing system documentation, testing, user manuals, and industry periodicals/websites
  • Assist clients with processing routine transactions and maintenance needed to resolve issues
  • Document system and/or procedural changes and communicate information to clients; may occasionally need to train clients on new functionalities

What you bring...

  • Bachelor's degree in business or IT, is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications
  • Minimum two years' banking experience, operations (back office) and/or branch required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of financial services terminology and operational procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; SQL experience a plus
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced multifaceted environment

The salary range for this position is $48000 - $63000 / year
