Dynata is seeking a creative, market-savvy, business leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and extensive global go-to-market strategy to serve as VP, CORPORATE Segment Lead. This is a newly created position, and this person will be responsible for developing Dynata's Corporate go-to-market strategy, customer experience vision, and the associated roadmap, to acquire, retain, and service [Corporate] clients.

The VP CORPORATE Segment Lead will lead the end-to-end customer experience life cycle, from inception to delivery and to do so effectively, this person will need a deep understanding of the market segment and market opportunity, buyer persona, competitors, and needed solutions and product mix. This is a global role, and this person will work closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to establish goals, develop and drive Dynata's value proposition, competitive differentiation, product set, sales strategy, marketing plans, to deliver success.

The VP CORPORATE Segment Lead will be responsible for developing a high performing go to market plan, that establishes brand awareness, thought leadership, customer activations and product, and promotional campaigns across their customer segments. The VP, Marketing Segmentation, will activate the market and work closely with sales teams (direct, indirect and partner seller teams) to deploy products, service packages, pricing, partnership programs and product portfolios.

This role will share and align success goals closely with the success of Sales. Key success factors for segment leaders include competitive market share, revenue growth, new customer activation, customer retention, customer lifetime value, increase share of wallet and marquee enterprise customers.

The VP, CORPORATE Segment Lead is a balanced internal minded and external facing role - can work with Sales and Product teams to develop customer and partner relationships within the segment ecosystem. Internally, the GTM segment lead works closely across the commercial spectrum: with brand, content, creative, demand, product, customer/professional services, pricing, program management, sales and/or marketing operations, sales enablement, and strategic partners.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced thought leader with a record of accomplishment of successfully leading complex change management initiatives. This role will effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional leaders to drive positive change across the business and will believe that Dynata can compete and win against both the biggest and smallest (i.e., start-up) competitors in our industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The development of Dynata's Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy to support the CORPORATE industry, Planning, and execution by segment/channel spanning product, pricing, marketing and sales programs.
  • Develop and implement processes to gain the market and customer insights required to identify opportunities for differentiated solutions and services that address key challenges for customers, ie Advisory Boards, 1:1 interviews, etc.
  • Partner with Sales to create and execute segment and account-specific growth strategies and plans to increase customer engagement, improve relationships, build brand equity, drive faster closes, and improve win rates.
  • Define and evolve, ICP and customer personas. Develop TAL lists and campaigns to support segment performance, with strong value propositions to drive awareness and demand generation within the segment.
  • Collaborate with other executives and regional functions to drive an aligned execution plan and to ensure effective cross-functional coordination for the highest levels of teamwork and results. Functions include Marketing, Human Resources, Product, Panel, Sales, Sales Enablement and Operations.
  • Define product requirements specific to segment needs. Own development of Business cases to support required product developments.
  • Defines and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and scorecard metrics that span customer acquisition, growth, retention, and product mix.
  • Harvests meaningful content from within the segment, from testimonials and key proof points to competitive information. Works with marketing to launch promotional efforts.
  • Identifies failure points and orchestrates resources to mitigate.

Experience

  • The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant product marketing/management/strategic and GTM experience ability to synthesize strategic, financial, operational analysis, and research into strategic insights and practice recommendations.
  • Segment leadership experience or product marketing experience with a focus on delivering against goal.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, organizational, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in KPI measurement and analytics.
  • Proven success developing and executing research to uncover customer needs and considerations and then transforming the finding into recommendations.
  • Cross-functional expertise to architect and drive an integrated go-to-market plan.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including senior executives to execute strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Corporate segment lead needs to have had Corporate experience / agency side and ideally product marketing experience.

The salary range for this position in is $180K-$225K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
