About the Position

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a Senior Water Resources and Climate Resilience Engineer to join our team in Manchester, CT or New Haven, CT and contribute to our mission of creating a more sustainable and resilient future. We are a dynamic and innovative engineering firm dedicated to sustainable water resource management and resiliency solutions.

As a Senior Water Resources and Climate Resilience Engineer, you will play a key role in our efforts to develop and implement water resource management and resiliency strategies. You will work on a wide range of projects related to ecological restoration, green infrastructure, climate adaptation planning and design, and nature-based solutions in coastal and riverine environments.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to water resources and resiliency projects from concept to completion.

- Design and oversee the construction of water infrastructure projects.

- Evaluate and implement sustainable stormwater management and flood control solutions.

- Provide technical expertise in climate resilience and adaptation strategies.

- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project success.

- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.

Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

- 7+ years of relevant professional experience.

- Familiarity with state and federal funding programs.

- Relationships with/experience working with public sector clients.

- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.

- Excellent project management and leadership skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
