Job Description

The Citi Global Wealth Business was created to combine our Private Bank business comprising of clients with a net worth of $25mm and join this with our Citi Gold and Citi Private Client business (net worth of ~$200k v. $1mm). This consisted of merging businesses across the Global Consumer Bank as well as the Institutional Clients Group. The goal of the creation of this business is to provide clients access to more products and digitize our offering to our clients. The Wealth Operations organization are looking to harmonize their processes to newly formed policies and create strategies and synergies across our people, product and our platform.

The candidate will be working on the Operations Change Management team, to govern and manage an ~$30mm Book of Work as well as drive strategy across the Wealth program for operations. Closely liaising with the Operational leads to drive synergies and implement process re-engineering changes, technology platform changes, and working on new and emerging technologies. In this role, on top of exposure to technology book of work and process reengineering, you will also have an opportunity to learn about Citi Wealth's key businesses such as Banking, Lending, Trust and Investments and understand importance of KYC, Client Onboarding and Client Reporting.

As part of Change Management team, you will have a unique exposure to worlds of Technology, Business, Operations, PMO and Business Management through meaningful projects that have real impact on our business and clients Our seasoned professionals will provide you with a training and mentorship required to succeed in this role. You will experience a supportive and collaborative work environment and have exposure to our senior leaders. You will work on high impact and global projects to further develop your banking industry knowledge and soft skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership through, which are critical to success in today's fast-paced, ever changing business landscape. After completing this program, you will also have solid real-world, hands-on experience in technology projects and banking industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the end-to-end operational processes to eliminate manual intervention, streamline the process creating efficiency and reducing cycle time
    * Partner with technology teams to deliver best in class solutions and enhancements to Operation teams
    * Understand, analyze and drive transformational decisions based on Data
    * Partner with the Ops product teams to update Operations process flows and lead process reengineering campaigns
    * Work closely with tech partners and work on emerging technologies such as NLP and AI to help create opportunities for the business
    * Track initiatives across partnered teams to ensure successful deliveries
    * Identify opportunities for Digitization and Automation including RPA and Workflow Management opportunities
    * Track initiatives across partnered teams to ensure successful deliveries
    * Drive design and implementation of new operating model for Operations, and associated processes and procedures
    * Develop and implement relevant operating model changes in order to pivot the Operations organization towards digitization and enhanced client experience
    * Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cultivating a robust service and control environment


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in the financial or consulting industry, change management, process re-engineering or client onboarding role specifically within Operations
    * Track record of implementing operational metrics and dashboards to support strategic decision making
    * Strong familiarity with Process Management, six sigma, process flow diagramming and governance, specifically within Operations
    * Experience program managing large scale global and complex initiatives and implementations
    * Ability to effectively partner with Ops leads, technology partners, senior management and business counterparts
    * Strategic thinker and visionary who can also roll up sleeves to ensure proper execution
    * Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
    * Very Strong Presentation, PowerPoint & Excel skills
    * Excellent leadership and negotiation skills
    * Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to multi task effectively in a high volume environment while maintaining adherence to deadlines and priorities
    * Self-motivated and directed, proactive and action-oriented, must demonstrate personal accountability

Key Required Competencies

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with large data sets, determining the key data points and being able to concisely summarize it for senior management.
  • Knowledgeable with creating dashboards/KPIs including using key industry tools such as SharePoint, QlikView, Tableau and others.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and package data and present findings for senior mgmt.
  • Project Management experience in working in Waterfall / AGILE methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of process flow diagramming and knowledge of relevant tools (e.g. Visio, Signavio)
  • Strong expertise in both PowerPoint & Excel (Advanced)


Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
