Dewberry has an immediate opening in our New York, NY office for two (2) Staff Engineer - Electrical Engineer with 2-4 years of design experience in electrical light and power systems, fire alarm systems, for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. and Infrastructure support.

Responsibilities
    Support the Lead and Senior Electrical Engineers to develop schematic and construction drawings, assist with code analysis and cost estimates to meet project requirements.
  • Serve as the Electrical Project Engineer for small projects and coordinate work with all disciplines.
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections of electrical systems.
  • Assigns tasks to and coordinate with technicians or administrative staff.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree (Preferably passed EIT).
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 2+years direct experience in related electrical engineering design.
  • Proactive personality with solutions-based approach to problem solving.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills (English language) and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Word and Excel (Microsoft Office) required.
  • PE license is not required but is plus.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $80,000 - $88,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
