Posting Summary | The Department of Emergency Medicine proposes to the University the establishment of a new Assistant Professor level position with a focus on oversight of University Hospital Emergency Medical Services as well as other duties as assigned by the Chair. The replacement of this position will have a favorable impact on NJMS as it will provide the opportunity of maintaining projected budgeted volume/revenue. The clinical duties to be assigned to the replacement hire will meet the Department's commitment of providing emergent clinical care within the Emergency Room and to contribute to further developing and expanding upon the clinical service at University Hospital. As a core faculty member, the candidate's duties will include bedside teaching of residents and students and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects at University Hospital |
