Posting Summary | Under the direction of the principal investigator, the candidate will lead and execute research projects related to the characterization of the humoral immune response to viral and bacterial pathogens. The initial focus of the research will be to evaluate the humoral responses of humans infected with HIV, TB or CoV-2, and isolate monoclonal antibodies with potential therapeutic and/or diagnostic utility against these pathogens. The candidate will be responsible for preparing manuscripts for publication, taking care of the day-to-day operations of the lab, training students and post-doc fellows, and prepare and submit research proposals and research reports for funding agencies and prepare biosafety protocols and amendments. The candidate will also coordinate activities relating to collaborative research projects and present research results via internal and external seminars and conferences. |

Minimum Education and Experience | Applicant must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, at least 5 years of post-doctoral experience in the areas of molecular immunology, virology, and TB immunology. Direct Experience in molecular biology and immunology techniques, Essential requirements are excellent communication skills and demonstrated success in writing of scientific communications and grant proposals. |
