Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow within the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research. Under the direction of the Director, Associate Director, Principal Investigators, and/or senior Research Project Managers, the Post-Doctoral Fellow will implement complex statistical analyses of health care claims data including millions of Medicare and Medicaid claims and other research data; interface with scientific collaborators and their teams at other institutions, and draft reports of analytic results. The Fellow will participate in the writing of research papers and contribute to the development of study progress/final reports as appropriate. Mentoring will be provided in the further development of advanced expertise in healthcare data analysis, longitudinal modeling, advanced statistical programming techniques, and high-level analysis of healthcare claims data. Opportunities will be provided to complement the job training experience with selected coursework in statistical analysis, research methods, and related topics, as mutually agreed upon between the candidate and the center director.
