Ultra Signature Management and Power is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer shall have the responsibility of designing, developing, testing and supporting new and existing products from inception to end of life. This position is necessary to support present and future growth of the company.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all technical inputs for quotations on new and existing designs
  • Design, develop and provide technical support for new and existing products relating to magnetic, capacitive and filter components.
  • Travel to potential and existing customers to provide technical support
  • Interface with other departments to provide support

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years' experience developing new products at the component level
  • Proven track record of designing and managing development projects from inception through end of life
  • Ability to communicate clearly and desire to learn
  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of multi-stage filter design, testing and manufacture
  • Knowledge of Mil-PRF-15733, Mil-PRF-27
  • Knowledge of magnetic component design
  • Knowledge of low and high voltage capacitor design
  • Ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple projects
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to read small text and handwriting.
  • The employee must be able to visually examine parts and documents.

Expected Compensation: $95,000-$105,000
