Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Services/Social Services, Healthcare or related field with least 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with mental health and/or other behavioral health disorders or in a forensic setting; or Associates Degree, or 60 credits in human services or related field and 3 years experience in working directly with individuals with mental health disorders and/or other behavioral health disorders or in a forensic setting; or High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years experience in mental health and/or other behavioral health disorders or forensic setting.
* Experience in residential or other services to individuals with Severe Mental Illness or Personality Disorders preferred.
* Good communication and counseling skills.
Good writing and computer skills for documenting in an electronic health record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a focused team.
Scope:
* Frequent talking and listening.
* Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may include direct intervention with participants.
* Will require crisis intervention in emergency situations, including managing aggression.
* Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
* Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
* Local travel required, including transporting program participants.
* May be required to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
