Job Description

The Division of Allergy, Immunology & Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics is seeking an academic faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Allergy/Immunology with specific expertise in allergic diseases. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will be a full-time Columbia University faculty position with full fringe benefits. The individual must have the ability to advance medical knowledge and to translate it into clinically relevant strategies for diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions. The individual will be joining an actively growing and expanding research and clinical operation covering a wide range of allergic and immunologic disorders and research programs. Responsibilities will include patient care, active participation in resident and fellowship education, and participation in clinical and/or basic research. The ideal candidate should be able to develop niche clinical programs and compete for independent research funding as well.


Minimum Degree requirement: M.D. plus 3 to 8 years of internship & residency training

Other Minimum qualifications: Candidate must be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine, and Allergy/Immunology and must have or be able to obtain a New York State medical license.
