Job Description
The Role:
This is an opportunity for a knowledgeable finance professional with a background in accounting to assume a key financial role in a best-in-class organization 60+ years in existence.

As a Staff Accountant with Savills, you will work cross-functionally with other members of the finance department assisting with various reporting requirements and projects.  This position reports to the Assistant Controller.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the Company’s monthly consolidated financial statements by:
  • Calculating and posting various types of journal entries
  • Completing bank and other general ledger reconciliations
  • Analyze a significant volume of transaction documents for proper revenue recognition and timely processing in our systems
  • Review operations reports and obtain feedback from field offices for use in analytics
  • Create new vendor profiles within Accounts Payable module including verification of W-9 information in accordance with Company policy
  • Interact with other Finance teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Tax and Treasury and management at our field offices
  • Assist with projects assigned to the reporting group from our parent company
  • Assist with year-end financial audit and internal audits
  • Assist with the implementation of new ERP technologies
  • Other ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Must have knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Solid verbal and written skills
  • Be deadline oriented with an attention to detail
