FlexStaff is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our client, a Nassau County based food importer and distributor. This position is full-time, hybrid (3 days/week in the office).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outside sales activities within assigned territory to meet sales targets
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers as well as growing our customer base
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer accounts
- Provide technical sales support and product information to customers
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sales strategies and assist purchasing team with buying forecast
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers and prepare and assist with bids
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in outside sales in the food industry is required
- Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and translate creative ideas into action with a clear ROI.
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment and able to meet deadlines, stay focused, be self-motivated and show integrity
- Excellent account management and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze market data and identify sales opportunities, must be a critical thinker
- Strong communication and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$100,000/year
