We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to provide accounting support in all areas of finance and accounting.
What you'll do...
Assist with the monthly and quarterly financial close by preparing account reconciliations, recording journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting analysis and documentation with a focus on revenue and related areas (revenue, cost of sales, gross margin, AR/AP, etc.)
Analyze period- over-period fluctuations and provide insightful commentary of key business drivers; respond timely to inquiries through research and analysis
Serve as a liaison for revenue accounting and reporting between the accounting team and FP&A/ Business Intelligence/ Operations Team
Support cross-functional initiatives on revenue, margin, and other revenue related areas
Work closely with the extended finance team to ensure controls are operating effectively around financial reporting and accounting activities
Assist outside auditors with quarterly and annual audits
Additional responsibilities for special projects as they arise
About you...
Undergraduate degree in accounting required
Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
3 years prior experience in accounting
CPA preferred
Big Four or Comparable Public Experience preferred; Public company experience is a plus
Advanced level Excel skills and ability to navigate large data sets
Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to multitask
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Proven ability to adapt and work to meet deadlines
Candidate must be driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $90,000 - $105,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
