Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Physical Therapist, Per Diem/ Hospital.
In this role, the successful candidate provides appropriate therapy to promote the improvement of mobility, functional ability, and quality of life. Uses clinical expertise to plan the delivery of safe, therapeutic, and age appropriate care through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree Physical Therapy (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) approved PT program). Current and valid NYS Physical Therapy license and registration or limited permit. Current and valid BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills. Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree Physical Therapy (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) approved PT program). Other Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) Physical Therapy (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) approved PT program). 1- 2 years Hospital (Inpatient) or Orthopedic (Outpatient) Rehabilitation setting. Experience in Neuro – Outpatient facility only.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $60.00 – $60.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
