The NYU Langone Medical Center, Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology seeks a consulting cardiologist for its growing Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Program.
As a consultant in the HCM Program you will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services, work closely with the Director and Associate Director of the HCM Program and other key clinicians including cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, geneticists and interpret echocardiograms.
The HCM Physician will participate in research and teaching as an intrinsic part of the job.
The NYU HCM Program is the largest such program in the mid-atlantic States drawing on a large geographic area of > 20 million inhabitants. We manage complex HCM patients by drawing on the extensive expertise of our HCM attending physicians and the great depth of resources at our Medical Center. You would be working with pioneers in the field with decades of experience, with the support of dedicated NPs and research coordinators. HCM is now a highly treatable condition with established treatment paradigms and new therapies coming on line yearly.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is 300k to 340k. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
